Although the ratios of men to women vary by age group, the largest difference is in the senior category. For those 85 years of age and over, there are more than twice as many women as men.
Not so fun female fact : For every $1 a man earns, their female counterpart will earn but $.76. This number is despite the fact that we may be just as educated or overall qualified to do the same job. In fact did you know that more women than men graduate high school? It's true ... females have a higher rate of high school completion than males, yet on average we earn less money than males, to do the very same jobs.
